Bunker 6 - CS 417 MP1c

A failing bunker. Three clearances. One way out.

Bunker 6 is a first-person VR escape room created by Team 6 for CS 417: Introduction to Extended Reality at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Search a decontamination bedroom, gather emergency supplies, and restore a damaged generator and communications system. Earn each room's clearance, open the inner security door, and prepare the airlock before making your way to the surface.

Inside the bunker

• Three connected puzzle areas with their own survival tasks.
• A final airlock challenge that brings together packing, ordered filtration, and electrical testing.
• Physical objects, labelled sockets, handwritten clues from R, and local sound and light feedback.
• A countdown, optional collectibles, and restart controls.

Play on Meta Quest

Download the Android APK below and sideload it onto a developer-enabled Meta Quest using SideQuest or Android platform tools. Launch The Room from your headset's applications after installation. This download is a standalone VR build and requires tracked controllers.

Use the XR controller rays and grab controls to interact with props and buttons. Press X on the left controller while looking at the bedroom newspaper or R's departure note to read it; press X again to close it. Follow the environmental clues and on-screen progress indicators.
